Our efforts to uplift communities in Abs district in Hajjah governorate reached new levels through a series of impactful projects. With a focus on education, protection, health and livelihoods, we aimed to address the diverse needs of the community and empower its members to build a brighter future.
- The Kids Club project brought together 1750 children, with equal participation from 875 boys and 875 girls. This initiative created a safe and engaging environment where children could learn, play and develop essential life skills. The club fostered creativity and teamwork, enabling children to succeed despite the challenges they face.
- Art and creativity workshops, where children learn to express their thoughts and feelings through painting, music, and crafts.
- Group games and interactive challenges aimed at teaching children to work as a team and appreciate the efforts of others.
- Awareness sessions on life skills, such as personal hygiene, health care, and constructive problem solving.
- Competitions and entertainment events that stimulate the spirit of positive competition and help build their personalities.
- Strengthening lessons according to levels in calligraphy, Arabic, and English.
- Entertainment trips.
- The children’s club contributed to supporting the children’s psychological and social development, and provided them with an opportunity to meet new friends from different backgrounds. The children have shown a marked improvement in communication skills, increased self-confidence, and a better readiness to deal with daily challenges. Moreover, the club promoted the values of cooperation and mutual respect, which reflects positively on their lives within the community.
