Abs Development Organization for Woman and Child, in partnership with Al-Ghad Foundation for Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Relief and Al-Nada Foundation for Development, concluded yesterday afternoon the training course on the health and environmental sanitation project for 50 volunteers from Al-Qanaws district. Where A. Abida Al-Khader – ADO’s Office Manager – Al-Hodeida Branch, delivered a speech welcoming all the attendees at the outset and stressed the importance of the volunteers applying the knowledge, information, and skills they acquired that would enable them to implement the project in their areas. A word of thanks was addressed to all the participants, the trainers, and the efforts made by the partners. As Dr. Ahmed Mathkour – Executive Director of Al-Ghad Foundation gave a speech in which he thanked the volunteers for their interaction and commitment to attend during the training period and their fruitful efforts for the success of the session. At the end of the event, participation certificates were distributed to all volunteers. It is worth noting that the course lasted for five days, from May 3, 2017to May 8, 2017, within the framework of the Health and Environmental Sanitation Project, with the support and funding of OCHA. The closing ceremony was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, the Executive Unit Supervisor, and Internal Security. As well as Health and Environmental Sanitation Project Officer and MEAL Officer at the organization. And the head of the Al-Ghad Foundation. Representatives from the Office of Planning and International Cooperation in Hodeida Governorate, the Manager of the Health Office in Al-Qanawas District, and the executive unit in Al-Qanaws district have also participated.
