Gender-Based Violence Awareness Project (INTERSOS and UNFPA)/Hajjah (2014):

In partnership with Intersos and UNFPA, Abs Organization sought to change some customs, traditions and misconceptions in many families through effective equality between males and females and raise awareness to ensure the dignity of girls among families and communities. The organization implemented several seminars on gender-based violence against women and children, the number of beneficiaries reached 1137 beneficiaries:
Seminar on the dangers of sexual intercourse.
Seminar on female genital mutilation.
Seminar on domestic violence.
Seminar on depriving women of inheritance.
Providing psychosocial support to 490 survivors of gender-based violence.
Training 77 beneficiaries in sewing to face difficult economic conditions.
Implementing the 16-day campaign to combat violence against women.
Conducting 11 awareness sessions on the phenomenon of violence against women, which benefited 1137 beneficiaries.
Implementing 17 surveys to monitor child protection, and two cases were assisted with eye surgery.
Providing support to 72 cases that were subjected to various forms of violence and early marriage.
