Women’s Vocational Training Project (Oxfam)/Abs (Empowerment) (Development) Women’s Sector:

Demonstrating the importance of vocational skills, 525 participants benefited from the Oxfam-supported Women’s Vocational Training Project. These women’s initiative provided practical skills that enabled them to feel economically independent, self-reliant, and confident.

Specialized Workshops: this workshops covered various sectors, such as sewing, handicrafts, and crime, in addition to the basics of marketing and sales. These workshops were important in providing women with skills that would enable them to work collaboratively or within teams.

Small Business Management Training: These specialists are trained to provide women with advanced knowledge and specific innovative skills, including how to prepare for work, skills, capabilities, and resource management.
Financial Awareness Sessions: Awareness sessions on money management and budgeting helped women gain an understanding of how to manage income and savings. Practical training: The project provided practical training opportunities, allowing women to apply skills in real-life work environments, helping them gain confidence and, consequently, valuable experience.
