An induction workshop was held to introduce a project intended to enhance the public service capacities in integrated policy responses; one of the programme’s components of strengthening institutional resilience in Yemen (SIERY). A project that is being implemented by ADO and funded by the European Union & UNDP. The project’s goal focuses on improving the capacities of public services providers for scaling up the outreach to the most vulnerable people in 5 districts in Hajja Governorate (Abs, Hajja city, Najra,, Mustaba and AlMahabisha) During the induction session which was attended by the Governorate leadership and the PM, Eng. Jameel Al-Zabidi, DG, Mr. Ismail Al-Muheim, had indicated the significance of the project and its contribution towards driving local development. Meanwhile, valuing ADO huge humanitarian efforts put into implementing such major projects assuring the Governorate’s leadership willing to provide all facilities to ADO team. For her part, Dr. Aisha Thawab, ADO Chairwoman, expressed appreciation for the Governorate leadership and SCMCHA support in this regard stressing carrying out the recommendations mentioned in the workshop and ADO’s commitment in executing the project in accordance with the highest quality standards.
