Construction of the First Floor of the Emergency and Obstetrics Building at Al-Mahabisha Rural Hospital – Al-Mahabisha, Hajjah Governorate:
Al-Mahabisha Rural Hospital serves as a healthcare provider for five districts in Hajjah Governorate. However, its production capacity is severely limited, leading to understaffing, non-distribution, and a shortage of essential medical equipment. This can lead to a high number of maternal and newborn cases, particularly in emergency situations, and is designed to serve 540,037 people.
The main objectives of this project are:
Maximizing the availability of nutritional products to reduce maternal and newborn mortality in the region.
Enhancing access to emergency and basic health services, particularly for internally displaced persons, marginalized groups, and the underprivileged, who represent approximately 75% of the district population.
Providing a comprehensive range of diverse healthcare services, including in the cover rooms, antenatal apartment, postnatal apartment, preeclampsia apartment, caesarean section jacket, pressurized Sydney apartment, neonatal resuscitation jacket, external nursery jacket, and pediatric units, internal nursery, cheese preparation area, health workers’ area, bathrooms, and medical equipment stores and supplies.
Enables healthcare services to be provided at over 80% capacity.
Local electrical support improves the capacity of healthcare services in the region.
Facilitating the movement of patients, including women, to the new section by building connections between Buildings A and D.
