The local authorities in #Hajjah Governorate, Yemen, inaugurated the Khamis Mustaba water project, which was implemented with funding from the UNDP Yemen and implemented by Abs Development Organization.
8,000 people in 26 villages benefit from the project, which includes the rehabilitation of a 7-meter deep well, an integrated solar pumping system, a 50 cubic meter water tank, and a 10-kilometer water distribution network.
This project is one of the most important service projects in the field of water in the governorate, as it will contribute to alleviating the suffering of citizens and providing clean and safe drinking water.
Local officials praised the efforts of the Development Program and the implementing organization, and called on humanitarian partners to adopt more of these sustainable development projects.
