Amid the worsening humanitarian situation in Yemen, Abs Organization’s efforts in the nutrition sector stand out as a beacon of hope for the most vulnerable. Through therapeutic and preventive nutrition programs, community awareness, and basic health services, the organization specializes in improving the quality of life for children suffering from malnutrition.

Therapeutic and preventive nutrition programs:
Abs Organization provided therapeutic nutrition assistance to more than 420,000 malnourished children and 430,000 pregnant and lactating women, while nutrition programs will reach more than 250,000 children and 230,000 women. In addition, comprehensive malnutrition screenings were conducted for more than 1,050,000 children and women, with more than 16,000 beneficiaries referred to health providers and received the necessary support.
Community Awareness:
The Healthy Nutrition Foundation reached more than 550,000 beneficiaries through awareness programs on proper nutrition and health practices. More than 30 community volunteers were also trained on how to engage with community members, enhancing community participation in improving nutritional status.
Availability:
The designers injected their funds into the factory training program to update and evaluate, contributing to improved program effectiveness and sustainability. In addition to these integrated interventions, the Abs Organization contributed to monitoring the health of healthy nutrition and the most vulnerable groups, demonstrating its commitment to food security in Yemen.
