Abs Development Organization for Women & Child – a national, humanitarian, developmental, non-profit, non-governmental organization that adopts a strong approach based on achieving a well-thought-out strategy to reach women, children, and the most vulnerable displaced and host communities in deprived rural areas in Yemen. Since its establishment in 1996, the organization has strengthened the integrated multi-sectoral response.
The organization has gained the trust of most United Nations agencies, obtained a lot of funding, and was distinguished by its focus on the essence of life (women) and its adoption of a community participation approach, because it believes that change begins from society.

At ADO, we believe that building a more equitable future begins with empowering women and protecting children’s rights. ADO commitment to sustainable development work, achieve a clear vision, a purposeful mission, and solid values guides our efforts towards making a positive and sustainable impact in society.

Abs Organization recently completed the distribution of small business grants in Mokha and Khokha districts. With the support of BMZ and in partnership with DKH.

Abs Women and Children Development Organization, in cooperation with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), held a training course on obstetric emergencies at Al-Thawra Hospital and September 21 Hospital in Hodeidah. The course is aimed at which lasts for 11 days. To train 29 midwives from Sana'a, Hodeidah and Raymah in emergency interventions to save the lives of mothers and newborns pic.twitter.com/PBbbF5VAiln
